National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) – this scheme will require you to successfully complete practical and theory tests after which you will be rewarded with a two year “red” trained operators card. During the two years you must then register and complete an appropriate VQ to be awarded a “blue” competent operators card which will then be valid for 5 years.

NPORS require you to have completed a Health and Safety touch screen test within two years prior to testing.

Alternately there is currently an option to gain a 5 year traditional card in which you would then have to retake a test.

Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) – is a card scheme to prove the skills of plant operators. It is based on a combination of professional competence and health and safety awareness which are two essential qualities for operating plant.

CPCS require you to have completed a Health and Safety touch screen test within two years prior to testing.

We are able to deliver Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) training all over the UK, on-site at a client's premises or our dedicated training area, located in Erith, Kent.
